I’m not your typical HR person.
And that’s the point.
I started out as an engineer with a double degree in Software Engineering and Visual Arts, which tells you everything about how I’m wired. Technical rigour and human intuition in equal measure. I’ve never been able to choose between the two, so I’ve always found ways to use both.
I began my career in management consulting, working with some of the largest banks and telecoms in North America on digital transformation, HR strategy, and large-scale change. I managed teams across India, Europe, and South America, and led complex programmes where the hardest part was never the technology; it was always the people. That’s what drew me to HR. It was a natural pull toward the work I found most meaningful.
When I moved to Dubai twelve years ago and joined Expo 2020 as Senior Manager, Performance and Purpose, I took the leap into the world of HR. What started as a leap into the unknown became one of the most formative experiences of my career. In my role at Expo 2020, I led a large team and was responsible for wellness, engagement, learning and development, and internal communications, all while building the event readiness strategy for one of the most ambitious projects the region had ever seen. I learned everything fast, under pressure, and at scale.
Why I do what I do.
I’ve seen what HR looks like when it’s done well. HR can be genuinely strategic when it shapes culture and drives performance.
Too many companies in the GCC treat HR as a back-office function. I come at it differently. I start with business strategy and work backwards to people. I bring systems thinking, project management rigour, and 23 years of working across four continents to every engagement.
That’s what I offer founders, executives, and growing organisations:
a strategic HR partner who thinks like a business leader first.
The real me.
I’ve been in Dubai since 2014. It’s where I built my HR career, met my husband, and had our two children.
I’m a working mother running my own consultancy, and the founder of FlexPerts, a fractional talent marketplace built on the belief that top talent shouldn't be out of reach for growing businesses. I understand both the startup world and the corporate one, because I’ve lived in both.
I’m MCIPD and SHRM-CP qualified, a certified coach and a certified SIY facilitator.
I lead with empathy. I don't do corporate speak, generic frameworks, or advice that sounds good in theory but falls apart in practice. I ask hard questions, listen properly, and tell you what I actually think, because that's what I'd want from someone in my corner.
Ready to work with someone who will genuinely be in your corner?
If you've read this far and something resonated, let's talk.
A free, no-obligation 30-minute call is the best place to start. No pitch, no pressure. Just an honest conversation about where you are and whether I can help.
